It's obvious #GrapheneOS' devs rather refuse to support hardware than to do concessions in terms of #Security...
- But besides that I think that any decently maintained #Android distro like #LineageOS should be accepted when #unmaintained & #abandoned-after-release #eWaste producers like #Wiko and #Unihertz get past that #PlayIntegrity check, which are the ultimate evidence pieces that "#security" isn't even a #figleaf in this discussion!

@stuartl for Example not-so-long ago I had an minor issue getting me an engine light.
I went to my trusted independent car repair shop and they were able to diagnose the issue within seconds and get a replacement part installed within an hour.
That kept the repair bill low.
And that should be the norm for everything - and not the #figleaf #PR smoke that #Apple does with the #IRPP & "#SelfRepair" program.
Opel forfeilted their rights to my car in the moment it was sold to a customer -forever.

@BryanGreyson like with most shit that is #WellMeant by @EU_Commission it'll likely get watered-down or even weaponized against #users and #developers, like "#SoftwareCertification" that can only aim to ban #FLOSS, #BulkSurveillance and criminalization of #SecureCommunications or the #Figleaf that was #GaiaX to justify shoving money into #Amazon and #Microsoft in lieu of actually working #domestic #cloud standards...
