OLeft my house today for the third time in 3 days. Weird, but not unpleasant.
Yesterday I got this lovely pic from the ferry:
Can't help but feel I should go back someday just to see this view; it's so reminiscent of the atmospheric perspective and the style used by old-timey Japanese artists...only it's real, and on the other side of the Pacific! My photographic piece, "Aerial Perspective".
Waiting for the ferry to go see my eye doctor and had to capture this view. #PNW #WashingtonStateFerries #commute #OlympicMountains #Autum
I simply call this one "Olympics Rising", because on the road to Cape Flattery, paralleling the Strait of Juan de Fuca, I caught sight of this breathtaking view of the mountains of coastal Washington in the low light of a summer's late evening. No editing was made...or needed.
Smoke is beginning to clear out in western Washington State.

Video of the sunset over the Olympic Mountains last night:
I love how the the sun sparkled on the water, and seeing the seagulls flying around.
#throwback to some of the most beautiful #sunsets I've seen. Summer 2018, Seattle!
