My submission for #godotwildjam 78: Sideshow
https://carsick-pig.itch.io/sideshow
First time participating in a game jam! Felt like being in college again (cramming a lot of learning in week and submitting right before the deadline).
Our #indiegame for the #GodotWildJam 78 becomes more and more playable. Sounds, healthbar and some animations make it much more enjoyable. And still 2 days left to make it better. Woohooo!!!
Day 5 of #GodotWildJam 78. First little sneak peek at #CtrlOttDelete, a #indiegame by @wazabey.bsky.social and me. We are well in time and, if the otter gods have mercy with our little souls, we can release it on Monday.
I look longingly back at 2021 when I made many small games, mostly for Godot Wild Jam. It was some of the most fun I had in my adult life. Wish I could do that again some time.
ok wow... my pc died in middle of the stream... corrupting my ssd (new one btw) and my progress of the whole day is gone.... gamejam is done for me -.-
p.s. remember to frequently save your progress to another dudes pc on the internet -.- feck! #gamedev #gamejam #godotwildjam
Some of you lamented that you didn't have any #LGBTQIA+ games in your portfolio yet, so together with our friends at #GodotWildJam we came up with a way to fix that

And if you *don't* hate puzzle games (why would you?!), here's one more: "Melting Point"!
https://cosmic-melon.itch.io/melting-point
Pretty straightforward and "only" 5 levels, but nicely executed and very cute. :)
If you hate puzzle games, then give "Bouncy Batsy" a go instead. Beause this "Jump King" inspired rage-game will make you hate *yourself* even more than that!
In "Vampire Bedtime" you play as a vampire re-arranging furniture to finally get some well deserved rest in the shadows, far away from that pesky sunlight.
https://delpire.itch.io/vampire-bedtime
Nothing revolutionary, but very solid and competently polished nonetheless! :)
"Lumina" looks and plays quite a bit like "Limbo" and has some clever puzzles as well. I just wish the jump wouldn't be so clunky. It's probably by design, but still...
"Spelunk't" might not be perfectly on theme, but really impressed me with its clever mechanic. Don't want to spoil too much, so lemme just say it's a platformer with a bit of... well, "Tetris". Feels like there's a ton more potential behind that idea!
Looking for a clever puzzle? Here you go:
https://unwontedvase.itch.io/coy-escape
In this extremely pretty game, your task is to move a little coy from shadow puddle to shadow puddle until it finally reaches the sea. "Shadow puddle!?", you may ask. That's right! Instead of water, it swims through shadows and quickly withers in light. So you switch between morning, noon and evening to make the shadows wander around.
@ewoud, you might like that!
If you play just one more game, make it this!
https://mewhoelse.itch.io/universe-v-alice
Deservedly won the "Originality" category: This solo (!) project effortlessly nailed the theme and *all* three wildcards with a really clever mix of visual novel and bullet hell game, including witty writing and nice character art. Much recommended!
