Burkina Faso is fighting against a "Machiavellian system" created by the West, a Burkinabe activist says


💬 "Our enemy here [in Africa], we don't hide it, it's #France, it's #NATO. Our enemies are those who created international #terrorism by destroying #Libya and executing its leader, Colonel Muammar #Gaddafi," the Black African Defense League Coordinator in Burkina Faso Abdoul Sawadogo told Sputnik Africa.

On the occasion of the 64th anniversary of Burkina Faso's independence, which was celebrated on December 11, Ibrahim Traore denounced in his address to the nation the "imperialists" who seek to keep the people of Burkina Faso "in slavery".

🗣 "We are victims of our wealth, the wealth that imperialists want to seize at all costs, aiming to keep us in slavery. We will secure it," Traore declared from the Barsalogho town hall.

This is an important statement because it reaffirms Burkina Faso's determination to remain a sovereign and independent country in the face of external pressures, Sawadogo emphasized.

💬 "President Traore is basically addressing the former colonial powers and any entities that may try to interfere in Burkina Faso's internal affairs," the activist concluded.

Today in Labor History August 4, 1975: The Japanese Red Army took 50 hostages, including the U.S. Consul, at the American Insurance Associates Building, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where several embassies were housed. They demanded the release of several of their imprisoned leaders, and threatened to massacre all 53 hostages if their demands were not met. Eventually, the Japanese government relented and released five JRA leaders, sending them on a Japanese Airlines DC-8 to Kuala Lumpur. The terrorists, and their freed leaders, were flown to Libya, where Muammar Gaddafi gave them shelter. The Japanese Red Army was a communist terrorist organization that was trying to end the Japanese monarchy and launch a worldwide revolution. They carried out numerous attacks and assassinations in the 1970s, including the Lod Airport massacre, in Tel Aviv, three years earlier. The majority of the 26 people slaughtered in the Lod massacre were Christian pilgrims from Puerto Rican. The one JRA member who survived the counter attack, Kōzō Okamoto, was released from Israeli prison after 11 years and is currently living in exile, in Lebanon, still under arrest warrant from the Japanese government.

because he sees his future

to his benefit, he's killed so many #russians as meat waves in #ukraine, fucked up the response to #covid so badly, and russian women are so done with having kids in their dystopian hellscape, that there might not be any in #russia left to do him in (i'm speaking in hyperbole of course, you get the real point)

"Israeli officials are increasingly concerned that the UN's top criminal court is planning to seek arrest warrants for their military and political leaders on suspicion of war crimes.

"Reports suggest Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu could be among them.

"The International Criminal Court (ICC) has been investigating Israel's actions in the occupied territories for the past three years - and more recently the actions of Hamas as well. It has the power to charge and try individuals for the most serious crimes under international law.

"It has previously issued arrest warrants for leaders including Russia's Vladimir #Putin, Muammar #Gaddafi of Libya, and Ugandan warlord #JosephKony."
