Awareness - so the assumption is they simply haven’t been told, and once they’re told, things will improve - here’s the problem: there is zero neurodiversity awareness in that framing.

The whole point of neurodiversity specifically is some brains see some things and some see other things, this premise of awareness is grounded in Allistic We are All the Sameness, if only we all get the same information we will all understand and agree, we will All Be the Same again, once we have all been made aware. When neurodiversity is about what you are aware of, what we and they CAN be aware of, and what you’re not, and can’t be.

I don’t mean it’s hopeless, only that the old saw, knowledge begins with one’s self, still applies, that in order to be aware of other things, you have to know something about your own awareness machine, and I say again, without irony, that Allists need to learn about Allism first.
