Of course, the owner (!) of an instance is an ugly capitalist incarnation of #SocialDarwinism. The #Fediverse lacks basic rules of #justice.

They are called #laws and #ToS of their hosters.
And Hosters who don't follow those of their peers and/or nations get either #DROP'd as the malicious actors they are and/or closed down by police.
It's that simple, really ...

@markuswerle @kkarhan @haschrebellen@kolektiva.social @mods You can't possibly enforce this. Instance owners can do whatever they want, it's up to you to find one you trust. I think this is an advantage, if you disagree with Twitter's moderation, you are powerless. Here you can simply switch to another instance.
Long-term Mastodon will hopefully make migration fully seamless such that all content is preserved.
