Y'all, if you have a #fileserver, always have a parity disk in the #raid volume. ALWAYS. They have saved my ass so many times. And, for the love of all that is righteous, make offline backups of your precious volumes.
Today is being spent on making my #TrueNAS server healthy again.
Два раза пробовал заново добавить просто так диск в массив, но он отваливался при попытке ребилда. Почти сразу показывало его статус как faulty, а сам диск даже пропадал из вывода `fdisk -l`.
Сделал `smartctl -t long /dev/sdb`, пришлось ждать часов пять пока диск гонял самотест где-то в фоне.
После этого добавление диска к массиву инициировало ребилд, и уже ребилд не упал, а продолжается. Очень медленно, конечно. За ночь всего 27%, но всё же.
