Have been holding off refreshing this thread, as Census was due to relaunch HPS as HTOPS in January:

Word of a moratorium on government communications, makes this seem unlikely:

Nonetheless HPS reporting was suspended, despite ongoing data collection, in October of the prior administration.

I went to a gallery opening a while back. I wore a mask, but maybe one or two other people did. The place was jam-packed, there was no ventilation, and I took off early because I heard people coughing and sniffing and I couldn't handle it.

I miss going to events. I used to regularly go to art galleries, museums, movies, plays, and concerts. Now I don't feel at all safe going to them. People have decided to ignore the ongoing pandemic. Outbreaks are happening all over, and people are being disabled at ridiculous rates, and collectively, people stopped giving a shit. It distresses me.

My roommate and I were already disabled, and contracting COVID has made us much worse. My father has severe long COVID and is a shell of his former self.

Why don't people want to protect one another from this? It's not hard to protect one another, but people can't be arsed and I don't know what to do beyond hide in my room with my HEPA filter and shout into the void. #accessibility #MaskUp #eugenics #DeathCult #MassDisablingEvent

I lost all trust in a health care system that willingly plays along in this #MassDisablingEvent. If anyone, they should fucking know better. With duct tape & tinctures i try to fix all smaller ailments myself, hoping to flying spaghetti monster that i won't get a serious health issue in need of medical attention. If & when it happens i might prefer to say sayonara, rather than visiting a super spreading hospital, that does not even the most basic thing right. To protect patients from infections.

NCHS estimates of #LongCovid—based on Household Pulse Survey. We have CDC refresh a day late. (Last cycle Census, itself, was over a week late on releasing data.)

Weighted response rate dropped a whole point vs. recent cycles.

Next update due October 3.

Lower "Living with" figure follows changed question format.
