I don't have the self-discipline for self-study right now. In fact I failed out of college twice because I couldn't handle working and attending and that was a traditional classroom experience.

Yes.. I'm asking for a shortcut. It's desperation, not hubris.

Software developers and physiotherapists... it isn't your normal software company. (And note that it is NOT a GenAI company.)

Hiring seems to be at least just as hard now as I recall from 10 years ago... and I know it's also hard from the job-seeking direction too, it took me months of mostly never even getting acknowledgements to applications for jobs I'd selected as a very good fit, taken the time to tailor cover letters for, etc... it was hell.

* 4 days per week on-site.

I'm looking for a web or full stack developer to join my awesome team. This would be a part time (~20 hours a week) independent contractor position for a fully remote team working on a website primarily for the Jewish community.

We're using Django, htmx, and Tailwinds, along with other smatterings of technology, and so familiarity with some or all those platforms/frameworks would be a plus. Devops experience, or at least strong familiarity with container based deployments are a plus.

Before trying to find an accountant on the open market (I see little chance of success there), I thought I'd ask here:

Does anyone happen to know a professional accountant in Germany whom I could hire to help me properly close the books on my status as a freelancer in Kreuzberg, Berlin, Germany, and declare resulting taxes? Who has time to help within two weeks to satisfy a May 16 submission deadline? (Hopefully this could be extended if needed, but that's beyond my control.)

My hope is that this shouldn't be difficult for someone experienced. A couple dozen invoices going in/out, estimating the resale price of some devices I've bought, and whatever else is needed to determine what is left after liquidation.

I've since moved to Brussels and I run a limited liability company here, with proper accountants. But these accountants lack Germany-specific expertise.

Obviously this will all need to happen in German language and under German accounting/tax law. I am writing this in English just to get the message as far out as possible.

I need a simple solution, not the optimal tax-saving one. My income from 2021, 2022, and 2023 has already been double-taxed by Germany and Belgium because of my own incompetence and questionable advice I've received from various professionals during those years (so please don't mind if I ask a lot of questions for clarification -- some of my trust in accountants and tax advisors has already been burned). Saving some tax here or there won't really make a difference in the grand scheme of things. I don't mind paying taxes, not even paying more than strictly needed. I just want to spend most of my productive working hours on my own projects, rather than trying to learn accounting properly in order to respond to a letter I've received.
