Keat’s philosophy was centred on suspending judgment about something in order to learn more about it. Here we see the resting-place of poet John Keats in Rome’s Protestant cemetery, along with Joseph Severn and Percy Shelley. The inscription reads: ‘This Grave contains all that was mortal, of a Young English Poet, who on his Death Bed, in the Bitterness of his heart, at the Malicious Power of his enemies, desired these words to be Engraven on his Tomb Stone: Here lies One Whose Name was writ in Water.’ However, Keats himself only wanted the phrase, ‘Here lies one whose name was writ in water’ to be on his tombstone. It is thought to be taken from Beaumont and Fletcher’s Philaster (‘all your better deeds/ Shall be in water writ’).

#SoCraTes is really not great in expressing what will be happening and how the vibe is like, so let me try to sum it up:

It's like a 5-day vacation* with fellow nerds, so many great experiences and learnings and board games – while also being a way more diverse crowd than usual techy conferences.
