@brianvastag that's what I missed with #protondrive , it's very cumbersome to migrate from Google photos. How many photos did you manage to migrate to pcloud? Apparently Google has some limits with their api

Da ja gerade eine Diskussion begonnen hat um die Frage, wie lange #Daten bei US-amerikanischen Unternehmen noch sicher sind:
Ist es ratsam, weiterhin langfristig #GoogleDrive und #GooglePhotos zu verwenden?
Vielleicht ist #ProtonDrive eine bessere Option – dort werden auch #Fotos in die #Cloud geladen, wenn auch nicht mit so vielen Sortieroptionen wie bei #Google.
Ich kann es tatsächlich in technischer Hinsicht nicht beurteilen, empfinde aber gegenüber #Google eine gewisse Skepsis.

I'm still on the fence. I was 100% in the "leave" camp & in the process of mapping where I would take my #email, #storage, #calendar & #VPN when I came across this post on #Medium. Things moving swiftly this morning. Four close friends joined Signal. Only need to persuade the wife - I'm hoping FOMO kicks in.
Also signed up to Proton Drive, cancelled my Google Drive subscription and started the long process of transferring our files over.
Do proton drive let me group photos based on faces in the photos? Or is it just a simple filestorage?
