The atmospheric CO₂ concentration (provisional, unadjusted mean) in March 2025 was again higher than expected based on the values ​​of previous years.

The CO₂ concentration increases from 425.38 ppm (Mar. 2024) to 428.15 ppm (Feb. 2025). That is 2.77 ppm within one year. This is 1.02 ppm higher than the approximation. March 2025 was the first month in which daily values ​​above 430 ppm were measured. On seven days, values ​​exceeded 429 ppm for the first time.
