Wim🧮I have said this before, but here is the evidence: "visual differences between HD [1080p] and UHD [4K,8K] video were rarely noticeable by the subjects."These UHD formats are purely invented to sell more TVs. They do require much higher network bandwidths as well. Wim🧮Just to be clear, in the big picture (total global ICT emissions of 5 GtCO₂e) this kind of footprint is still very small.
