Industry Decarbonization News<p>Electrification is not always possible, and hydrogen comes with its own challenges. H2 derivatives like ammonia or methanol could provide climate solutions in some situations. Another possible H2 derivative is e-methane. It is chemically identical to fossil methane, the main component of fossil gas. Its proponents say it has the advantage being able to use existing gas infrastructure. 🧵 <a href="https://industrydecarbonization.com/news/is-there-a-place-for-e-methane-in-a-climate-neutral-future.html" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">industrydecarbonization.com/ne</span><span class="invisible">ws/is-there-a-place-for-e-methane-in-a-climate-neutral-future.html</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/emethane" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>emethane</span></a></p>
