As part of my yearly blood panel, I asked my doc to add a measles vaccine titer check. Fifty plus years, that vaccine forcefully injected from my pediatrician's Nurse Ratched (I didn't like shots, naturally) apparently is still doing the good work. Since I work around a lot of virus and bacteria vectors (children, in Texas), this is very good news to me!

Update. "Marks Says He Was Forced Out of #FDA for Trying to Protect #Vaccine Safety #Data"

"Shortly before he was forced to resign, the nation's top vaccine regulator says he refused to grant #HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s team unrestricted access to a tightly held vaccine safety database, fearing that the information might be manipulated or even deleted."

I wish I could see anti-vax ugly faces:

Oh hey, in reference to above: uhhh, no one seems to be getting vaccinated anymore and while that's bad, it also means no one seems to care anymore about whether you stick to a vaccine schedule?

As in, I'm trying to get a booster about every six months or so, and so far no one (my pharmacist, my doctor) seems to care about when I had the last one so they just do it (I'm in Oregon).

So if you want to get vaccinated again, definitely TRY! :)
