Hello everyone, hope you're having a good Tuesday. We're slow at work so I took 1/2 of my remaining 1 day of use it or lose it vacation. I'm taking the other half Friday. So I'm hanging with the girls of the Yellow Hive and going to vote with my wife soon. We're trying to remove our wanker of a mayor. He's shady and an asshole IMHO. On our return I'm putting 1 gallon of 1:1 simple syrup on the hive. We might visit a nursery too.

Well...have the two rides in and the sourdough is in the oven and I think that's all I'm going to do today other than read...too cold here to ride outdoors today...only 32 degrees right now and it's not getting much warmer until Thursday but I should be out in shorts this weekend and I'm looking forward to that....need to get the grocery list together and I'm picking up a spiral sliced ham at Meijers for 89 cents a pound so that will keep me fed for a week...good morning!

Mine seems to be taking its sweet ol time. But hey. It's not like a gotta get up n moving and off to someplace to do something or anything other than sit n sip n stare out my window until it does. 
I'm off to a foggy start to #myday. Both pre-coffee mentally and weather wise this morning. It a nice 40-degree start, too. Eventually, the sun is expected to burn its way through this blanket of fog n shine nicely and warm us up into the low 60s.
So, if this old body lets me and it's not still too wet, I'll try tackling some outside Honey-doin or gardening stuff or something. 
Well, at least ponder the possibilities as I sit n sip and such this morning.

Hiked 7-miles (11.3K) yesterday, then edited another chapter. It’s called pushing yourself to the limit.
I do that a lot. Lots to do, little time for doing it.
I’ll walk this morning, draft a blog post, & edit a chapter. 19 to go.
I’ll also think about my next hike…

The older I get, the list of impossibilities keeps growing.
Doors closed. Maybe just abandoned along the way.
Yet so many impossibilities turned out to be possible after all.
Looking back, as a suicidal kid from rural poverty to have traveled this road seems unbelievable.
Many things I'm not proud of but each step on the path brought me here.
Without the missteps it wouldn't have been my path.

Good morning!
It's 33F (1C) this morning with a wind chill of 24 (-4C). So it was a cold early-morning walk. I saw three deer, but they didn't stop long enough for me to take a photo. Tomorrow morning we'll be well below freezing again. In April.
In the belief that summer is indeed going to come, I'm having my AC checked out and serviced today, so I expect to spend most of the morning sitting around and waiting. Maybe I'll get some writing done while I wait.

Today:
- I got my hair cut and it’s no longer falling in my eyes all the time
- I had a nice catch up with a friend while I was in town
- we chose to meet at the library because it’s conveniently located, comfortable and warm (it’s been cold and wet here today). I also got some books out, including a couple of intriguing ones that were on display. Libraries and librarians are the best!
Today I:
- Woke up after 7:00 am, which is later than usual for me. Very nice.
- Edited/corrected some pages on PapersPast - for the first time. Naturally, it was about a Hungarian topic :-)
- Another Tuesday, another introvert day, so I didn't leave the house! We did have a visitor who came for coffee, and that was nice - although they stayed a tad too long for my liking.

1. Got my baking done and it all turned out great. Feels nice to have a domestic day.
2. Woke up to a long, rambling message from my son. Just updating me on their musings on spirituality, religion, etc. And expressly saying they just love talking to me about that stuff and wanted to keep me in the loop. 
3. Have had a few days now of just feeling at peace with my life, where I'm at and where my little family see ourselves going.
Kind Support is desperately needed for getting Catkibbles, Food,Water & essentials. Please help
