Today I finished my last of 15 weeks of training for the in . I'm thankful that I had no issues with my knee the whole time. This year, I won't aim for a new personal best (1:33:45), even though both & predict almost the same finish time as last year.
I think anything under 1:39:59 is fine. The big goal this year is the in — and for that, I still have many limits to push

For the #RunnersOfMastodon who train with #Stryd, they just dropped a new article from an Olympic coach who uses Stryd with his athletes.

It dives into the weeds with the detailed metrics Stryd provides, what they are, average ranges, and what you can do to improve them.

This is probably, single-handedly, the best article they've released to date IMO. It answers the question "how can I be a better runner with all these metrics?"

Had an easy trot through the forest and enjoyed the winter landscapes. Met many other runners. My thesis: Those who run because of their New Year’s resolutions don’t greet other runners or smile—they just don’t feel it. 😁

But I wish all of them the best and hope they keep going.

Started my training for the today with an easy jog. My sunny boy joined me on his bike.

I’m planning to use this training as preparation for the on October 5th 2025. If I stay injury-free and don’t encounter major issues, I’ll start the marathon training plan on May 19th, 2025.

This morning, I woke up feeling the urge to do something meaningful. I resisted it until noon, but then I got dressed for a run, synced my playlist, and ran a 21k. Feeling much better now😁

After lunch I treated myself to a piece of chocolate. I've lost 3kg over the past three weeks and plan to keep going until I reach my optimal weight. A tough project during Christmas, though!

Late evening with a . I would have preferred listening to my new playlist (a friend gave me some really good recommendations), but the app on the didn’t sync at all.
So I missed someone screaming at me and pushing me to give my best.
On the other hand, after a long day and a short night, I’m quite satisfied with this training... except... it was too late for .

Thor sent me heavy & continuously strong headwinds.Some trees had fallen,and after the run,I wondered if it had been one of my best ideas to go in the forest on a day like this.But in my defense, I have to mention that the forest is ~100m higher than the city.At home, it was windy.Up there, it was quite stormy.Nevertheless,I had a great listening to "Twilight of the Thunder God" by 😁
