Why isn't the world going insane at Republican politicians visiting concentration camps and posing in front of people who will likely be dead within the decade.

This wasn't even normal in 1942. It's not even normal in North Korea - Fascist regimes usually keep their death camps a secret.

Going to Pilsen tomorrow, Sweden is just too far away by train (and over 50% of you would flight shame me had I decided to fly, although I am a vegan, childfree, carfree etc.). Czechia is also one of the least religious countries in the EU so it should be OK during Christian holidays. I have already visited 10 towns and cities in Czechia, but Pilsen and Karlovy Vary I am yet to see.

If I understood correctly all shops in Czechia are allowed to be open on Easter Sunday, but on Easter Monday those over 200m2 must be closed? expats.cz/czech-news/article/e

Today is a very fucked up day in Southern Germany, being joyful is forbidden because it might offend Christians. If I danced, I would get in trouble with the police and have to pay a fine. The problem is, when I listen to music while waiting for a tram, my hips simply start to move, I can't stand still. So I will not leave my home.

The Jesus of the Hallow app isn't much concerned about social justice or caring for the downtrodden... And it's probably more persuasive to ordinary people than overt right-wing propaganda. This isn't the Christianity of the liberal Christians I know, who volunteer, donate money, and care very much about electing better leaders. This is a "don't worry your pretty head about all that stuff" kind of Christianity. Not that there was no political propaganda on Hallow. As a feminist, I couldn't help but listen to a 9-part series labeled "Feminine Genius"... I got scolded about how I should stop trying to "act like a man," and that women's "gifts" and "genius" are — surprise! — about the ability to "generously live for others."... a woman's role is to make sure everyone is taken care of, while men do all that higher-paid, less caring work. Not that women never get anything in return! In the lesson titled "Receptivity," we're told, "In the act of sex, a husband gives of himself to his wife, who receives his gift." Say what you will, but I did not expect the Jesus app to tell me I'm a genius because I know how to get f—ked.

Mit Gläubigen kann man weltweit prima Kasse machen. Religions-Devotionalien, Kitsch, billiger Plunder wird an die Willigen verhökert. Man kann sich ein wenig Schein-Heiligkeit für ein paar Penunsen ergattern. Das Geschäft boomt und der Geist ist schwach.

Ach, würde doch nur jemand vom Himmel hernieder fahren und all diese scheinheiligen Religioten richten ... >;-)
