Going to Pilsen tomorrow, Sweden is just too far away by train (and over 50% of you would flight shame me had I decided to fly, although I am a vegan, childfree, carfree etc.). Czechia is also one of the least religious countries in the EU so it should be OK during Christian holidays. I have already visited 10 towns and cities in Czechia, but Pilsen and Karlovy Vary I am yet to see.
If I understood correctly all shops in Czechia are allowed to be open on Easter Sunday, but on Easter Monday those over 200m2 must be closed? https://www.expats.cz/czech-news/article/easter-2025-in-czechia-market-dates-plus-store-closures-and-days-off
Today is a very fucked up day in Southern Germany, being joyful is forbidden because it might offend Christians. If I danced, I would get in trouble with the police and have to pay a fine. The problem is, when I listen to music while waiting for a tram, my hips simply start to move, I can't stand still. So I will not leave my home.
