Well😤 It has been a long time. I give up on moving to another server that would not federate with #Facebook #facebookThreads. #project92

I looked into 2 other servers. One seemed to have single moderator+administrator; I never got a reply when asked the administrator if there was more than 1 person on the moderation team.

Administrator of 2d server informed me that its users wanted to (have federation with Facebook).

Done✅️Personal best time 1:36:17

For today this was my absolute limit.I lost some secs right after the start cause I qeued at the very back of my starter box since I wasnt sure if I would do my pace right from the beginning. So I had some traffic 2 overtake til I could ramp up the pace. But I do not care.I am proud.I broke my 22yo personal best time.

End of week 13/16 of . No half marathon for many weeks now (5 in total during this training). But many |s at target pace instead, like today, another 30 minutes at 4:21 minutes/km.This was by far the best of these sessions I've had, even though the strong & cold headwind slowed my pace.I maintained the power at ~330W & heart rate at ~169bpm, which corresponds 2 the effort I would have had without the wind. Felt great during & after. Now cake🍰

Despite having sore legs and feeling like someone has nailed a shelf-board to my thigh and lower leg, I continued with the training plan today and completed a 50-minute running session with 20 minutes at the target pace. Mostly, I enjoyed the weather (the first day in 2024 in ) and the fact that apart from my legs, the rest of my body is improving every time at that pace (heart rate is improving steadily).

Short and slow today. 7.27 km at a pace of 5:42 min/km. It is week 13/16 of and although both and reduced the forecast for a half-marathon by another 2 minutes (now: 1hr 34 mins), I have doubts. My body feeling: Dead. Training condition according to Garmin: Tired.
My thighs feel like they are railway sleepers. I have the feeling that my recovery time is increasing with the progress I make.

After 2 very slow trainings this week, I was looking forward to on ☀️day. 15mins warm-up, 30mins running at target pace (~4:21 mins/km) & 15mins cool-down. Been to Belgium🇧🇪 over the weekend so I had no problems with uphills😁In the 2nd ½ I was faster than in the 1st ½💪Had a big fight with my best friend prior to the . Running in rage is so much more intense & satisfying.
Had a carrot-cake 🥕🍰 when I got home but forgot to take a picture.

training 3/4 of week 9/16 of .Motivation is at -2 on a scale from 0 to 10. 3rd training in pouring rain, crescendo run (I hate these😁), 2nd training with headwind & due to the conditions I ran into a really big pile of horse shit with both feet.At the moment I have 2 run the most boring track I can imagine.1st half through concrete jungle, 2nd half along rail tracks & abandoned houses...In the dark. I am stuck on my fitness level. no progress although I work hard.

Sunday, long , crescendo training. With the experiences of the past weeks I decided not to run one of my usual tracks but shorter loops because I wanted to focus on the given pace without uphill. This made today's training more effective but less interesting 😁 anyway, I felt great during and after the run.
Now I will go climbing with my little sunny boy and my best buddy.
Have a great sunday,

week 8/16. Halfway to the . 3 weeks ago, I started experiencing issues with my right knee. It began aching after workouts, but oddly, I felt no restrictions during , walking, or stair climbing – not even when climbing! However, it progressively worsened, causing concern. The turning point occurred last Sunday when the pain surfaced during the first 20 minutes of my 24k run. Strangely, it stopped suddenly but resumed afterward. By then, I knew that...

Today's training:30mins at target pace & 30mins for warm-up & cool-down.I calculated a distance of 12.4km so I had to a track with a difficult terrain which would not make it easy to maintain the pace due to several uphills. But I thought it would also be a good opportunity to see how I could make up time when things get tough.I was at 4:19mins/km (need 4:21) in the 1st ⅔,but finished the 30mins with 4:23. That's OK.Also set a new record for 10k: 45:31mins.

The training plan seems to be stuck at a pace lower than 4 minutes, which appears to be my personal fifth circle of hell. Maintaining this pace for longer than 5 minutes feels like pins & needles, triggering my limbic system🤯.
Tomorrow's training will be even faster.
Today marks the third consecutive training session where I had to cancel the fast part. Nevertheless, I am making progress...slowly.
81 days to go for

Two weeks ago, I had a similar training with 8 intervals of running at a cadence of 250spm. I felt very exhausted afterward. Today, I ran 10 of these intervals and could have done even more. I'm making progress in . My reward: A complete pineapple. Sooo tasty😋!
Favorite song on my playlist today:
The Offspring - Gone Away

#running#run#laufen

50mins of . 30mins of warm up and cool down and 20 mins of running at my target pace between 4:18 and 4:28. I was able to maintain that pace (except for 1km, where I finished with 4:30) although the low temperature made it really hard.
Felt tired after two consecutive nights of bad sleep. My favorite song today which I wish I had on my playlist: Sabaton - Resist and Bite🤪My has a funny software bug. Will keep an eye on that.
