Going remote and obscure for today's #StandingStoneSunday;

Gelli Hill stone circle, in the quiet hills east of Llandrindod Wells, mid-Wales. The circle itself is quite ruined, most of the stones fallen. A slab lies inside the circle. There's also an outlier and the site is intervisible with a fine Bronze Age cairn on top of the hill.

An arc of small standing stones in the right foreground. A larger slab lies inside the circle on the left. None of the circle stones are very large, the tallest less than 0.5m tall and the others half that size. The circle sits on a flat grassy plateau, with rising ground behind. On the skyline, extreme left, a Bronze Age cairn is silhouetted. It's grey and overcast.
