Kung Fu Kid is a beat-'em-up developed and published by Sega for the Master System where the young kung fu master Wang must defeat the evil Madanda and his henchman Kyong Shi to avenge the death of his master. 
It follows the common beat-'em-up scheme: The goal is to make it to the end of each of the 7 stages, where a boss fight awaits. Enemies continually pour in to challenge Wang.

There is a small list of Master System games that can't be played on the Power Base Converter using a Mega Drive controller due to slight differences in how the Mega Drive control pads operate. 
In these cases a Mega Drive controller causes the wrong set of inputs to be selected and prevent the input from working properly. 
One of these games is Wonder Boy in Monster Land...

When you think of classic Sonic, you probably think of the Mega Drive. But the first few Sonic games were closely followed by 8-bit versions for the Master System and Game Gear.
"Sonic The Hedgehog" (1991) feels like a (very) simplified version of the 16-bit original, but "Sonic The Hedgehog 2" (1992) is a completely separate game.
Both are very impressive for the Z80-based hardware they run on, albeit with bits of slowdown here and there.
