On 14 February we celebrated the 'I Love Free Software Day 2025' 
This year we marked this special day with:
19 events in 11 different European countries hundreds of people and many organisations that joined us in the Fediverse with a special "Thank you!" note for Free Software projects and contributors.
To all who joined us this time: "Thank you" for participating in this 15th edition of the "I Love Free Software Day" !

It looks like we had a pretty even split of answers for when #ilovefs day was first started! We wish it had started as early the '90s, but the very first I Love Free Software Day was celebrated in 2012.

Das "I Love Free Software" Event der fsfe bei Netways in Nürnberg am 13.02.2025:
Bei diesem Event der #fsfe waren am Donnerstagabend rund 40 Leute anwesend. Es gab einige Vorträge zu u.a. OpenCloud, Suse und systemd. Der Abend wurde von Bonnie Mehring von der fsfe moderiert und es konnten nebenbei neue Kontakte geknüpft werden.
Auch wir konnten einigen Anwesende auf unser Angebot z.b. beim Theo hinweisen. War ein schöner Abend und einen großen Dank an die fsfe und die Orga.
