Alley StoughtonAnyone have trouble downloading folders from <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/GoogleDrive" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#GoogleDrive</a>? It takes minutes to create a zip archive of several folder - and then says “can't download file”. There is a "learn more" option, which is about Chrome, which I'm not using. I'm using Safari on macOS. If I try the folders individually, eventually I get them all downloaded. But it's very frustrating.

sigueI'm looking to move off of <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/google" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#google</a> products, particularly <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/gmail" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#gmail</a> and <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/googledrive" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#googledrive</a> . If you have experience moving away from those two products I'd be interested to hear what you use in their place and what are the good/bad aspects of it. I currently pay for Drive and am happy to pay for a good product from a good company.I prefer to support a smaller company. Maybe a <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/canadian" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#canadian</a> one?(I'm a former Google employee in the US who is disgusted with the needless layoffs that destroyed internal Google culture, and with <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/sundarpichai" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#sundarpichai</a> sucking up to authoritarians.)

スパックマンクリスTurning 80-ish (usa letter-sized) pages of reading into Google Slides so students can read more comfortably on their Chromebooks.I really wish I could just use an HTML page, but last I looked Google Drive won't display HTML files as web pages.
