I'm getting more equipment for cider making. Yesterday, I racked a couple of my first experiments into 1 gallon glass jugs. I sanitized everything, took specific gravity readings, and had a taste (tastes amazing so far). Shout-out to all the YouTube videos that show how easy it is to make your own hard cider. I'll probably be bottling these in a week or two, and starting new batches in the meantime.

On the way home from our affiliated #dojo there is often a #police check before Christmas. The police are mostly interested in alcohol offences. My fellow #aikidoka therefore refuses to go to a pub after training to discuss our techniques 😉 because he would drink beer there and then get into conflict with the police.
Well, I have no problem with drinking water in a pub because I #brew myself and this beer is unbeatable compared to the beer in any pub.

so i documented this whole #brew #libsodium issue here: github.com/stef/pysodium/issue

and in my perspective this is something that should be fixed by brew and python ctypes, not every downstream module that uses ctypes to bind libraries. thanks for all the insightful inputs to my scream for sanity

#mac users, help! i'm going crazy, when you install #libsodium using #brew, it installs the library in /opt/homebrew/Cellar/libsodium/<version>/lib/libsodium.dylib but apparently not in /usr/lib or /usr/local/lib, so nothing finds it, and as a build script that has sodium as a dependency has to guess the versions and the path where brew installed the library. this makes no sense, what am i missing, and how is this supposed to work? what kind of madness is this?

@maxiorel Mám protip (btw jsem autor českého GUI pro Homebrew: corkmac.app)

Ve většině případů bývá lepší udělat zálohu přes brew bundle. Tak v jednom souboru přeneseš formulae, casks i taps zároveň.

brew bundle dump --file=(cesta)

Pak na novém Macu brew bundle install --file=(cesta)

Tohle byla i součást Corku, ale pak to Homebrew rozbil a nekomunikují se mnou, tak to musíš udělat přes Terminál
