This was the by far best sunset we saw on our trip to #Egypt. The colours were just stunning.

Landscape shot during sunset. We look across the impressive Nile river, the water disturbed by small ripples. The reflections of the sunset are a noisy mix of orange and very dark grey/blue. On top of the river is the narrow band of land, a deep black colour. The silhouette shows buildings. Above it is the fiery sunset with the glowing ball of the sun touching the horizon.

Now the scene is zoomed in closely to show the white glowing ball of the sun halfway vanished behind a far away horizon. The sky is completely drenched in deep orange colours.

Photo was taken at a later time, the sun gone, leaving only a thin orange light trail above the horizon. The river is still rippling with darker orange colours. The dark silhouette of a sailing boat with the traditional egyptian triangular canvas is dominating the center of the photo.
