Jenny Mathiasson<p>What a day ❤️🌪️</p><p>Today was <a href="https://glammr.us/tags/SwaleWassail" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SwaleWassail</span></a> in <a href="https://glammr.us/tags/Sittingbourne" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Sittingbourne</span></a> and it was delightful.</p><p>Highlights:<br>- met a descendant of Dickens<br>- got to refer to a reenactor as "the one with the giant spear" in a normal conversation <br>- met a maille maker who knows one of my mentors!<br>- gifted a tiny boy a smoke sponge<br>- met a Trekkie with an amazing leather jacket<br>- saw a boy take home a half dry mud brick like it was a pet<br>- wassailing the high street accompanied by a horse puppet with a French woman in it</p>

Mostly harmless<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@TricycleMayor" class="u-url mention">@<span>TricycleMayor</span></a></span> we went on a 1000 km <a href="https://nrw.social/tags/bike" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>bike</span></a> tour in 2018 thru the NL, UK, Fr &amp; Belgium. These were our biggest obstacles, in <a href="https://nrw.social/tags/Kent" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Kent</span></a>, on <a href="https://nrw.social/tags/NCN1" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>NCN1</span></a> - <a href="https://nrw.social/tags/NationalCycleRoute1" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>NationalCycleRoute1</span></a>. Embarrassing. Our handlebars were too wide to get thru the barrier. <a href="https://nrw.social/tags/Trekkingbikers" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Trekkingbikers</span></a> are not welcome around <a href="https://nrw.social/tags/Sittingbourne" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Sittingbourne</span></a> &amp; <a href="https://nrw.social/tags/Faversham" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Faversham</span></a></p>
