For reasons I cannot fathom, #KCRW's morning show Morning Becomes Eclectic is playing the Cheers theme song, Gary Portnoy and Judy Hart-Angelo's "Where Everybody Knows Your Name," and it's the first time I've listened to all the lyrics and realized that there's a #trans storyline in that song:
