Das Ergebnis der kleinen Umfrage zu automatischen Erwähnungen von Boostenden hat mich jetzt doch überrascht. Als Nutzer von #Fedilab hatte ich das Feature für „ganz normal“ gehalten. Immerhin 40% der Teilnehmenden haben sich jedoch dagegen ausgesprochen. Das ist schon ein Grund, den Konfigurationsschalter auf „off“ stehenzulassen.

Added:
- An outline around media

Changed:
- Make username, display name in nav drawer clickable
- Gif media not animated by default
- Disable by default the mention to the booster when replying. Can be enabled in Settings > Compose (per account)

- Crash when translating with MinT

Für Mastodon benutze ich auf dem Smartphone Fedilab. Aber irgendwann beim hoch scrollen lädt es neue Inhalte nach und springt wild in der Gegend herum. Ich muss danach runter scrollen und meinen alten Punkt suchen, an dem ich im DoomScrolling unterbrochen wurde. Was kann ich machen, um dieses springen zu unterdrücken?

As an aside, #fedilab the #android app, seems to have it's own built in #translation which seems to be really accurate, but then @apps also used quite a few server tricks of it's own so I can't be sure.

I wish I could find a desktop app that was as good, in several respects actually. But I still prefer a large screen most of the time, and #senji uses your browser's translate, which is also fine most of the time.

Fedilab Apps

Now that #Fedilab 3.32.1 is available for everyone, we received several reports:

- Crashes and lags related to a library that we recently updated.
It is used to animate emojis. We will rollback this update as there are no critical issues with it.

For people having crashes without lags, it can be related while playing Gif automatically in your timelines. Could you please disable this feature and give us your feedback before and after? (More in the media description)

Screenshot of the Settings > Timelines. Autoplay animated media is turned on by default. You can switch it off.

Weiß jemand wofür der neue Button unter jedem Tröt bei der neuen Version von #fedilab gut ist?

Es entsteht einfach nur ein neuer Tröt, welcher weder als Antwort gezeigt wird, noch wird der vorige Tröt zitiert.
