Die chinesischen Firma Anker baut auch 3D-Drucker. Wir waren skeptisch, nach dem Test aber überzeugt: Der AnkerMake M5 ist schick, zuverlässig und schnell.
This new generation of fast #FDM printers is really a game changer: 1/4th of the printing time, with better quality, reliability and repeatability. Any older #3Dprinter now feels like a dinosaur.

Here’s some photos of my first print, a test print file I got from #thingiverse.
I used the default settings, .3mm Layer, with a .4mm nozzle. Ankermake slicer, Ankermake PLA+ filament.
It’s a little rough in spots, I’d call this 80% successful.

I designed and printed a planter today. Wanted to try out #onshape. Printed with my #AnkerMakeM5 using PLA in silk copper.
A week with the #AnkerMake M5 and I can say that it lives up to its promises. As with any printer, you need to discover which settings achieve what you want, for instance I get the best results with my usual Atomic Filament PLA brand by printing PLA at 230C and running the fan only at 20%.
The speed and the accuracy of the M5 is very impressive, it did this print in 1h30 while it would take at least 4 hours on other printers.
Articulated full-sized Falkor from Hex3D on #Ankermake M5 printed in 6h50m, compared to 14h50m estimated for my Prusa in PrusaSlicer.
Settings were 3 walls, 0.2mm layer height, 10% gyroid infill.
Print quality is excellent!
@ianbradbury I consider myself also as new to this. 
I got my Ender in March this year and mostly printed easy stuff but never managed to print accurate stuff - this is something I want to try with the #AnkerMake next.
Did you manage to print reliable in Vase Mode? Some layers won’t stick reliable.
