Amnesty France«Le temps est venu de résister» : un jeune israélien refuse de servir dans l’armée« J’ai refusé de m’enrôler parce que je ne voulais pas être impliqué dans la perpétration du génocide. » Malgré l’obligation de servir, Itamar Greenberg a refusé de rejoindre l’armée israélienne. Cette décision, il l'a prise pour défendre ses convictions, au nom de la justice et de la réconciliation. Considéré comme un « objecteur de conscience » en Israël, il a purgé cinq peines consécutives d’emprisonnement à seulement 18 ans. Itamar expose ici les raisons qui l’ont poussé à faire ce choix.

@Meron There's a good article (in Polish) from #OkoPress [1] stating that the #PolishOmbudsman [2], #AmnestyInternational, the #HelsinkiHumanRightsFoundation, #UNHCR +... argue that the new law is unconstitutional (Articles 2, 56, 31 and 92 of the PL constitution) and illegal under Polish international treaty obligations. The Polish legal system is still in recovery phase, so unlikely (amateur guess) that the law will be struck down soon.
