A book! A comic! A hybrid-book-comic-essay thing!
You know how you sometimes only look at the pictures when you buy an academic book? Well here you are ENCOURAGED to! The main arguments are in the comics, the text offers references, methods & background.
Available from EPFLPress & soon internationally via Chicago University Press (pre-order available).

Vielen Dank an alle.

I'm thinking of creating a sort of pledge/agreement to use with both academic collaborators as well as grad students, where we (the collaborating team or the student and I) would pledge to never use generative AI in our work.

That would mean I would not collaborate with other researchers who want to use these tools, and I would not supervise students who want to use these tools.

I'm curious to hear thoughts on this.

Hey academics (esp social sciences, humanities). What do you do when a peer reviewer has asked you to do something to your paper that *really* doesn’t work? Suspect one of my reviewers had a particular perspective that I do not share. I’ve attempted what they asked me to do, and I’m not sure it works for my article. I know I can tell the editors that I decided against, but I wondered what others have done in this scenario. (I had two very different reviewers…) #AcademicWriting
