@mirabilos No, after thinking about it, I realised it makes sense (sort of). Given the nature of an _embedded_ system, such a device would generally have speakers already placed inside the chassis/case. Hence, an analogue stereo output port is not really required. Also, there is a connector for speakers on the mainboard. I simply never bothered to look at it because none of the speakers I own has a matching connector. It seems I have found the route to go...
@cloud_manul true but speaker and headphone ports can differ on the electric level (I don’t know any more than that), but… good luck ;)
@mirabilos Yes, that might be the reason why I don't see many adapters online. I can only find one right now: an AliExpress purchase (no, thanks). If all fails, I will buy a "true" embedded speaker and hide it on the lower side of the ITX bracket.
